RESEARCH NOTES:

John Floyd and wife, Jane Vernon, and their twelve children were listed on the 1850 Coweta County Georgia Census. In 1860, they were in Fayette County Alabama.  Some of  the children were married.   In 1870, William and George were in Fulton County Arkansas, and in 1880, William and Simon were in Izard County Arkansas and George was still in Fulton County and Isaac A was also listed on that census record.   I have not been able to find Simon listed in any of the 1870 Census Records.  It looks like he was missed completely.  I have not found the other brothers,  either,  listed on a census record, but I am still searching.  I do not know where any of their sisters were, except Elizabeth, who was still in Fayette County Alabama (Info from Steve).

Five of the Floyd brothers:  William, Simon, George, John T, Isaac A served in the
Civil War - all in Alabama 41st Regiment, Company B.
